Is Lytera a real country?
Yes. Lytera is a sovereign state, separate and independent from the United Kingdom.
By Articles 1 and 3 of the 1933 Montevideo Convention, we fulfill the requirements of a state in international law.
Do you pay taxes?
The Lyteran people pay tax to the United Kingdom and Lytera under the Dual-Nationality Law of 2018.
Can I visit?
Visits to populated areas are up to the discretion of the highest ranking official there.
Visits to Clubhaus Territory are allowed, but please be mindful of the area.
Can I become a subject of Lytera?
To be a subject one must first be a resident, or fight in our armed forces, but since we have not had a conflict since our formation, this is unlikely.

The Monarch, Alex I is the head of state. The Parliament and Council write laws in a semi-constitutional monarchy.

The Monarch can declare war, give people council roles, give out honorary titles, pass and block laws, and engage in diplomacy.
Is Lytera environmentally friendly?
The King tries to keep the nation environmentally friendly, and the royal gardens is evidence of this. We emit little Co2, and try to not be too destructive in our projects.
